all my things have been ransacked and they cut out my radio.

for some reason, i thought moving here would get me away from things like this. just as my city paranoia was dissipating, i get proved wrong.

i feel violated.

nothing is sacred anymore.

Oh Tink - I'm sorry - where was your car when it was broken into? Was anything other than the radio taken?

Oh Tink - the sh*ts.
The'violation' is much worse than actually losing a tangible thing, isn't it? However, don't let the ******** get you down - you've coped with so much these last weeks, so stay strong and keep coping.

I am so sorry to read this. It is the fact that someone else has been in your stuff that is worse.

Hope there was no other damage.

Thanks, guys.
What freaks me out is they did it while it was parked in my driveway and I was home alone while K worked graveyard shift.
They went through my glove compartment, my clothes, and where my radio was is just wires.
I don't even feel like driving it right now. It feels gross to know they touched all my things.
The cops came over and took pictures. Apparently, three other people in my neighborhood got hit as well.
The dogs have been acting a little off lately at night. I think "they" were probably scoping out the neighborhood. I was home alone so I didn't go outside to check things out but I peeked out the window.
I told myself I was being paranoid but I guess not.

It makes it worse being on your property and you there alone Tink. Guess you better take note when the dogs act up and phone someone. You were wise to stay inside.

I'm so sorry Tink, it must be so hard to feel that these awful people have been in your car and on your property. Sending you massive hugs xxx

I know what you mean, it's the violation of your private space. How horrible, but no place anywhere is safe from those b******s, a pox on them! Glad you stayed in; the dogs were right. So sorry this happened after everything else lately, (((hugs))).
