Blue sky!!!! Sunshine! Bit of a breeze - how long it will last? Don't know. Had an amazing sunset last evening - the colours were glorious.

Kizzy is full of beans this morning. Her dancing hasn't slowed her down a bit and she is so pleased to be able to get outside. She says the Ball was a great success. She is honoured to have met HRH Princess Leia and Princess Posh and has made friends with Smudge and enjoyed having a hunting Kompanion! She did get a bit worried about the rough lot from the farm, but felt safe amongst the other Catsey cats. (My OH says we're all as mad as each other! :-D :-D :-D )

Have a good day everyone. I do hope Posh and Tolly don't suffer too badly with hangovers  :D :D :D

Morning all nice day here overcast but brighter than has been for awhile.

I am off into the garden, tidy up and relook at some of the "seen better days" tubs/baskets maybe change a few around

Angie it was nice last night even here maybe a sign of a weather break, fingers crossed.

Moli...what shrubs? and its Friday you go away then thats come round quick.

Janey, what sort of car is your boyfriend getting? and will that mean day trips out and picnics.....:)

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it's sunny here too and it certainly lifts the spirits after all the rain we've been having. The recent spell of wet weather has ruined many of the plants in the garden and the baskets and containers are looking rather sorry for themselves.

I awoke with the beginnings of a cold today......typical when we are going away at the end of the week:roll: Oh well, I'll just have to keep taking the tablets!

Enjoy your day everyone

Yes, much brighter here too! Been riding with Dominik and seem to have bumped into half his school either there or in Waitrose! Now home and I'm going to try my hand at cooking Polish-style meatballs. Sadly I can't find the buckwheat I used to have in the cupboard so it might have to be with a mashed potato accompaniment instead. Home grown/cooked beetroot with it though :-D

If I have the energy I'm going to have a go a washing the windows - the window cleaner came last week and the insides are looking embarassingly grubby now.

Afternoon all-an odd Sunday. We suspended our gym membership this morning as from the end of this month.

We will get there again before Jenny goes into hospital and six months? will pass.

Hi, all, miserable weather: we're getting the rain now. Storm overnight and off and on heavy rain all day. Had planned the usual market trip for Sunday dinner but it was bucketing down when I was having breakfast so just changed the menu ... will be minestrone soup instead of the crab cake and spinach I was planning on. Tomorrow's supposed to be sunny. The humidity is so high everything feels sticky! But at least my arthritis is better today.

Leia had a lovely time at the Cats Summer Ball last night and she's her usual self today ...didn't drink too much champagne! Many thanks to Angie and CM for a bit of light fun on Saturday!

Hope the rest of the day goes well for all, sorry about the cold, Mags, rotten timing!

oh,it's late afternoon and Posh has been nursing a hangover from the Malibu cocktails she had last night at the Ball :-D

My OH & I have been outside in the sun doing a bit of clearing up in readiness for the builder to make a start, hopefully ASAP. Haven't seen the forecast, let's hope its goos news.

My sis and family are safe in the UK, landed at 3pm.Will meet up tomorrow after the jet lag has been sorted out.

Despite the recent wet weather, next door's plums are turning red :D,great little survivors!

have a relaxing evening all.

No, he's getting a Renault Cleo Sport! He did have a Seat Ibiza but sold that and got a Seat Toledo which was a big family car, There was only me and him in it and he felt it was too big for him at the mo (the boot was awesome, it was sooo big!)
Ive just phoned him and he's on his way back from Sheffield now with the Cleo Sport and he loves it, says there's a few things that need doing up be he's a Mechanic so he can sort it his self lol.

Sorry Imogen and I missed the ball! It sounds like it was a great success.
Back from a lovely weekend down in Cambridgshire with family-it was my cousin's little boy's 1st birthday this weekend. He's such a cutie, never stops smiling and giggling! Made me quite broody ;)
Feeling slightly yuck though-I got quite a nasty cat bite to my right wrist on Friday, cue swollen arm and antibiotics from the doctor  The tablets are making me feel quite sick but much better than an abscess which is what happened last time!
Off to sort out my laundry then head to bed-all this socialising is exhausting!

His new car is Silver.
