Hi, Its the other half of 'Frog' here :D - Thanks a lot for the Welcomes. Im Lewis & although Ive had cats before, this is the first kitten I've brought up as an adult. We want to do everything to the best of our ability, so he has the best upbringing we can give him. Hes the cutest cat I've ever known *Though of course Im biased! ;) * - though not quite so cute when hes chasing my toes! Lewis (Frog 2 Lol)

Thankyou again for the warm welcomes :) I've got a query, whenever Charlie eats his food or drinks his cat milk he scratches the floor as if he wants to cover up his food, like he does when he goes to the tiolet is this normal??

Lol, that could be one of two things: if you serve a cat something that she really dislikes, she will often make burying motions around it, indicating that it is nasty and should be disposed of, and then stalk off. It might be that it's being symbolically buried to save for later! Nothing to worry about.

Thanks, its as if he doesnt like the smell or that it reminds him of his own toilet smells so he thinks he has done something but hasnt covered it up, hope its nothing like you say :) Whatever it is he is still one cute kitty.

My Leia will sometimes pull part of the placemat over her plate if she's left some food ...I presume she's saving it for later! Doesn't happen often as she usually clears her plate .....

Its not only food that he scratches its when he drinks his cat milk too, or maybe thats rubbish aswell :P

I recon so, Doesnt seem like anything to worry about :D Apparently hes being a bit of a monkey today not eating because hes filling up on kitten milk, but that will stop tomorrow when his Mums back on the scene, not a soft touch like Lewis ;)

Yeh it does seem to be his little trait, i wont be worrying about it anymore. He has been a little monkey just drinking his kitten milk, and im not a soft touch just think he is really cute, as im typing he is fast asleep on his back :D

Hello & welcome!!! :smt039

As to the burying..... My weaselbob (stumpy, lumpy & grumpy old lady!! ) does it when she decides she doesn't like something.... food, pooh, other cats... She has been known (on occassion when little 'messages' are left!! ) to bury them by carrying toys, post & soft furnishings over and piling them on top of said 'message'!!!

Gotta luv 'em!!! Always nice to discover these little treats... but nothing to worry about... just funny!! :p
