Hi all! Couldn't think of a good theme, so this will be a mishmash of odd facts tonight.

My computer's running a bit slow, no idea why....cleared cookies ....so bear with me if I'm slow responding!

Poor Cleo - it's probably best if she doesn't have to go out at night. If she has her litter tray inside, perhaps she'll forget the mugging. Has victim support been any help? (ie. You!)

I expect you are all too young to remember HOW? on TV (probably never got to USA)

Did anyone see the trailer - the BBC are re-doing Survivors on Sunday evening. Anyone remember the original series written by Terry Nation (the Dr Who writer)?

Seen the trailer this morning. Never seen the first but thought this sounded quite good. May give it a try.

Yes, that's right Eileen - scientific or mechanical. It was for children of course but was very interesting ..... I was a child then too of course.

Yes, but it was all sorts of things like how does a steam engine work or how high can a flea jump or how do you age trees etc so there was always something to catch your interest.

I was a grown woman when I finally understood how a three way light bulb works...:oops: Learned that from the Childrens page .....
