The points are influenced by body temperature, which is the same in the womb. When they're born, the colder parts: ears, tail, mask, etc. color up.

The Ancient Egypitians worshipped cats. As sacred animals of the land, no one was allowed to hurt a cat in any way, because of this.

If a person was caught injuring a cat, or worse, killing it, how would that person be punished?

I found this: Nearly all breeders of which cat breed, name their cats according to which year they are born? Answer: Nearly all breeders of Birmans name their cats according to which year they are born. Birman kittens born in 2004 will have a name starting with B, 2005 the names will start with C

Cats do get colds, just like you and me, but cats have their own virus that is unique to their species. This means we can't "catch" colds from cats, and neither can they "catch" colds from us. :)

3 to 5 years if it's an outdoor only cat, 10 t0 12 years for indoor/out door and 15 years for an indoor only cat.
At least thats what many books/magazines etc say but we all know that they can surpass that;)

Not sure, but mine have jumped 5 feet up ..... if the tail is about 12" thenit would be about 4 times.........

Very close Eileen, apparently they can jump 5 times as hight as their tails.

In addition to having the long tactile hairs on their cheeks, cats also have shorter ones above their eyebrows, on their chin and on the back of their front legs.
