I just wont be on for goodness knows how long. My PC has completely died on me, and I have no way of getting a new one for some time (Christmas is coming you know lol), I had to nip into my library to use theres to let you all know. So take care all, and stay out of mischief! I will try and pop on when I can.

Keep looking on Freecycle Alex - you may just strike lucky! Lot's of people trading their PCs in for laptops etc ......

Hooray for libraries!

That's a real shame. Is it completely unrepairable or just not worth it.

Take care, 'see you soon'

Alex, keep watching for PMs. I'm going to see if we have any PCs here in the office that are no longer man enough to run our software but might be OK for home use.

It's strange how much I've come to depend on those things I said I'd never miss. My PC and internet, chiefly, and my mobile phone which has 'died' on me lately... I can't text now and I feel as tho I've had my hand cut off ! Suppose I'll have to 'talk' to my friends now, that'll be a novelty for them...

I didn't realize how addicted I'd become to the Internet until my first computer died and I was waiting for the new one to be delivered. I would sit out on the porch and just visualize all the cybertraffic going thru the air and I couldn't access it!!! Talk about withdrawal symptoms....:-D

My Pc has been foxed sp many times. My brother is buildong me a new one. I got internet withdrawal when i lost my broadband on Tuesday night.
