Arrived at Taba airport at 1am and it was 27 degree's :-D nice and warm then , checked into our bungalow and got a few hours sleep.

Sunday the temperate was around 42 degree's and set to get hotter for the rest of the week, but we think it cooled down to high 30's although our last day was very hot in the low 40's.

Very impressed with the hotel, it was very clean, food was very good, as well as the hotel restaurant they had three other restaurants, Chinese, seafood and a Lebanese, a set menu at these was included within our package or you can pay for an al la carte menu (we did for the chinese and it only cost us £23 for three courses including duck :) ) the staff at the hotel were excellent, very polite and helpful.

We also went snorkeling, and saw loads of fish, you could stand up to your knees or waist in the water and the fish would swim right up to you at one point we had over 200 fish around us :) we also did an introductory scuba dive which was amazing, saw loads of fish and an octopus!!

Thanks Alex, the resort was stunning and very good value as well.

Angie the heat was almost unbearable, but nice when there was a breeze on the beach. We used high factor sunscreen and kept mostly out of the direct sun. although my other half did spend about 15 mins snorkelling without any protection on his back and got sunburnt, luckily this was our last day and we used a gel called afterburn which was fantastic.

Fantastic photos Emma, it does look a lovely place.......did you take any of the outside of your bungalow? Just interested what they were like..;)

It looks very roomy there, not many people around, although it is there quieter season due to the excessive heat isn't it...

Did you get up the courage to have a ride on the camel?

It was fairly busy but not crowded, some of the pictures are taken first thing and the ones on the beach were taken just after luchtime when it was too hot to sit out in the heat.

No we didn't go on the camel, when on camels last year in Tunisia and once is enough!! LOL

The bungalows were nice and spacious with a kingsize bed, good sized bathroom and a seating area, two tvs.

A picture (not mine) of the fishes when you walk into the water.

Some of the fish were quite large (a couple of feet across)

Wow!..... your bungalows look far more superior to ours, very nice and modern too..:D Were you troubled much by the mozzies?

EmmaG

No trouble with the mozzies Mags, but they fumigated the grounds every night.

Hi Karen, the hotel is called the Movenpick Hotel in Taba. We booked through lastminute.com and the travel agent was Peltours. We paid £469 each for 1 week but paid an extra £18 per night to upgrade to the bungalow.

Wow, great pics - it looks amazing Emma. So glad you had such a good time.

My son and his girlfriend are off on an Egyptian cruise and then spending a few days in Cairo, in December. I will show them your photos to whet their appetite!
