Onyx - 6 months

She came for her breakfast January 15th....and has not been seen since.

For our newer members, Onyx was a lovely black stray in the neighborhood who was extremely timid and wary of people; we suspected abuse in her past. My friend had been feeding her until she had to move back to Oklahoma, and I took over. I had been caring for her for 14 months and she'd become a really loveable little cat; I wanted very much to bring her in, but Leia (who was twice her size) took violent physical objection to that...

I hope whereever she is, she is happy and cared for...

I'm keeping positive thoughts that the little lady has found a loving permanent home.

I didn't know Oynx's story Eileen, you must miss her terribly. I hope that she is safe and happy wherever she is.

Wherever she is now, I hope she is warm and comfortable and hasn't forgotten the very kind lady who helped to give her comfort through the cold winter by befriending her, feeding her, teaching her that humans can be her friend and be trusted.

Gosh Eileen 6 months already!! Poor you I know anxiety you are feeling. I'm sure though that due to you and your patience with her she has a lap to call her own.

Thinking of you today Eileen... its hard not knowing, but she found you, so am hopeful she found another "you" who maybe didnt have a Leia so she could get inside.
