They were in the background of Yola's Artful Dodger post...can hardly see them! I have two that a friend of my Dad's brought back from Hawaii in the late 20s or early 30s; quite nice...geisha's in full kimonos.

Eileen, they are by an Israelli artist - Tarkay. I have several limited edition prints around the house . . . more details here http://www.art-connection.com/new/Display.asp?gallery=Catto+Gallery&branch=London&pid=9597&title_val=%20Tarkay,%20Itzchak

I adore his figurative work, very remiscent of Degas and Egon Schiele, who I adore!

I`m ambivalent about nude ladies-but my taste in art is weird.

Grosz,Bruegal(sp) and Magritte-no particular order-well maybe Magritte first

Excellent taste Steph. I have to say, I find Magritte a bit contrived (much like Dali), but Grosz and Breugel . . . excellent! :D
