Wonderful news Kazz, Birmingham's loss is Stourbridge's gain! :D

Is that very far from your area?

Great news! Stourbridge is lucky to get you! And so are the people whose homes you'll check...you have common sense, unlike some of them! I've heard members here with the most incredible reasons for being turned down,,,

I may have common sense but have you ever seen me "rehome a cat" ...the poor people will be questioned via bright light and a monitor for increase in heart beat indicating an untruth...... ;) ....and in slightly tricker cases I will bring in the secret weapon of the sharp stick (human version)

When do you expect to hear from them? Don't panic about the interview, you'll do just fine. I have no doubts!

Karen, that's wonderful news :-D You will do just fine, and you will make an excellent rehomer - caring, sensitive yet sensible and pragmatic; with the cats' interests at heart.

At last! A use for that sharp stick! :) Thank goodness - it's not the sort of stick to remain idle.
As somebody said - one area loses, another gains. Aren't some charitable organisations/branches thereof inept?

(imagine everyone looking for a cat in Stourbridge finding themselves bamboozled and shap stick-prodded into taking three! :-D )
