View Full Version : Take a guess win a prize.
Come on roll up, roll up, roll up...:-D
Okay tomorrow my car goes in for repair tomorrow and I get a curtsey car. I figure majority of curtsey cars are smallish. My car is a 4 door Rover 25. hatchback if that helps?
So the quiz is
What colour will it be?
What make/model will it be?
Anyone getting it right (I will be the judge) I will donate £5 to Smudgley's rescue
This will end tomorrow when I post a picture of the car in question,:-D so anyone fancy having a go.
I will just go for a silver car as I don't know much else about cars!! :-D
Mags you have to guess a model....make of car like Jaguar or range Rover (don't guess any of those two though as I doubt it will be those) think smallish.....
Nissan Micra
Dark Blue
:D

What do you drive at the moment??
Oh you are a competitive lot aren't you...LOL As I said in the first post, I drive a V reg Rover 25, 1.4 its Blue 4/5 door hatchback. depending on if you call the 5th door a boot or a door.;)
Right it would need to be a hatch back or an estate, for the dogs...
either black or silver and probably a biggish engine....
A Ford Ka???
They dont take your needs into consideration unless you specify you want a blah.
What they normally do though. If you have say a polo for example they will give you a brand new polo or the next model up hoping that you are that impressed with the newer version that you'll buy one.
Clever eh? and it works!
Well thats A New Rover out of the question then.
I am considering yet again swopping the car though so see what I get.

Probably a new Silver MG,ZR, 1.4 or 1.6?
My car is up for its MOT in March and it with it being a V reg - 2000 and it has passed its MOT first time every time just the odd tyre needed doing. So I can't justify to myself seling it. As I owe nothing on it, etc etc and it is fine for me.
But tinkI should swop for something newer before mine starts causing trouble. Just what? I look and that kinda heart heartedly but can't make a descision. Maybe because I prfer to save money than spend it unnesccesiarly. Such as on a car.
Right thats it people take a guess roll up roll up.
Normally they say after the first MOT, is when things will go wrong, tyres, brake pad etc, so best to trade it in then...Saves money in the long run...
Can I guess more than once??
Take another guess Molli it is all in fun I am more than happy to let people have as many goes as they like, within reason.

I brought mine as an ex mobility car Moli 5 years ago this Feb. So it is doing well passed MOT each and everytime as I say with no trouble.:-D
Buy mine then Kazz. I get my new one on the 4th April. Mine is 05 with 23 thousand miles;)
I don't know if it works like that Jac..I brought mine through the Rover dealership. But I have to say it was an excellent deal and someting I would look at again seriously. ,
You can contact mobility about a specific car if you know it's coming up for sale/renewal.
I have a Zafira. It was great when I had Blue although he always needed a "lift" with his back legs:lol: had us on a string.
Now that is an an interesting option there Jac I never thought about....my sisters comes up for renewal next year too. I know they also auction them off so may go down that route.
Interesting though. Zafira no idea on what theya re like but will have a look.
Sure loads room for the dogs though.
Citreon C3...?'

Right Kazz, lets have some clues...
It is a dark colour as dark as you can get and the make has only 3 letters in it.
Nope the make not the model start with a K and has 3 lettersin it. K??
Black
Kia??
The winner.....:-D well done. ALthough I have to say it is not a car I would buy "small" by my standards....its a tiny thing.
Yes, they are teeny aren't they? I had one behind me the other day and was careful not to brake too hard as I was worried it would disappear up my exhaust pipes   ;)
So glad Smudgely will be getting her donation! :-D
I did ask if there was anything else and Nope was the answer good job I am not really going anywhere :) I can happily fit my handbag the boot - with a tight fit.
