I was putting a bit of petrol in the car this morning at the garage, and there were loads of leaves off of trees on the floor :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Now I definately know summer came and went and we are now on our way to Autumn/Winter....

Even the trees know :roll: :roll: :roll:

The day started off cloudy & grey, but this afternoon was quite hot! Took the dogs out for an hour and they were hot & tired.

Mostly. We don't get a lot of snow, but when we do get it, everything falls apart...we are famous for not coping well with snow...everyone panics, schools, offices and the government shut down early with consequent horrific traffic jams and mobbed subways, the store shelves are swept clear of bread, milk and, of all things, toilet paper! I've lived here all my life and it's always like this...we are a laughing stock!! And on the rare occasion we get a really bad snow...10 - 12"...the City is shut down for two or more days! I've learned to keep a good supply of things on hand in case the buses aren't running and I can't get to the market! The old joke is: Washington is a city with Southern efficiency and Northern charm ...
No doubt I'll be whingeing come December/January about it....thanks for asking!!
