Casper is a stunning one-to-two-year-old, male tabby, who was brought to the Mayhew from the Harmsworth Hospital after being found as a stray. When he arrived at The Harmsworth he had a large wound on the left side of his face, which has since been treated and is healing well. Casper has a lovely friendly, confident nature, and simply loves attention and will give you a gentle nudge if he’s not getting any. Casper has FIV and will therefore need to be re-homed to a household without any existing cats. With his infectious personality, Casper will make an adorable and loving companion.

If you're interested in offering Casper a perfect, loving, fully-committed, lifetime home or would like to know more about him, please visit The Mayhew Animal Home any Tuesday to Saturday between 1pm - 3.30pm.

Lucy - I think, sadly, that people are frightened of FIV. When I had an FIV cat my silly old Mum was worried that I might catch AIDS  . . . that's the level of ignorance that surrounds this virus :(

I do hope that Casper can find a loving home with someone that is not fazed by his condition.
