We had yet another good day with Tilly today at the Lakeland Show in Kendal.

She came 1st in her open but they with held her BOB still didnt manage to get hold of the judge who did it to ask why lol
She also got placed 2nd in all her side classes

So a big well done to Tilly.

Jypsi also got placed 2nd in her Open class but unfortunately didnt get placed anywhere in any of her side classes. I'm not going to worry about that though as she is only just past the age of being able to enter so its very early days yet.

The girls are now tucking into a nice tin of Applause each

Well done Sarah, Tilly and jypsy!!! :D Do you get Our Cats Newspaper? They publish the judge's critiques in there but it can take a little while after the show before they are published. Who judged Tilly's open class?


Are you taking Grace out again??

I've paid a subscription to our cats website where I can access the judges critique's so will be keeping my eye out for them.
I am taking Grace out again but hadn't put her in this show with the mishap with Jensen the maine coon and not knowing if he'd made her pregnant. Thankfully the wait is over and she isnt as she started calling a couple of days ago. So its back on the bench for her now

I subscribe online too Sarah but to be honest often the results show in the paper sooner than they do online. I've decided that when I renew my subscription I will subscribe to the paper instead off online I think..

I've got Ferne Charlie but didnt have her when the entry form was filled in if you get me lol so she wasnt entered but will be at another show.

Fran it was a Mrs V Brookes who judged her open this time.

No she's a Ragcroft which is my friend Arlene that bred her. Her mum is an Emerisle though and her dad is Willowbeck which they have a lot of Emerisle cats so you could say she originates back to them.

It has a 3ft long Phillipeano Sailfin in it so yes you could say its kinda creepy lol He is a proper Jurassic Park jobby or I think he is anyway. The things you can see are his logs and plants that he has in the tank for decoration and climbing on. He belongs to my hubby.
Here's a picture of him that was taken a while ago and he wasnt any where near as big as he is now. He has grown at least 1 foot bigger than he was in length and a lot bigger in the body. He has also got a horn on his nose like a rhinocerous.

Nope not snakes. I will not have a snake in the house. I am terrified of snakes and spiders. I can't even pick up the large live locusts that the reptiles live on lol

As i said he is tiny on that photo. I will get hubby to take some decent ones of him and post one on here soon

Can you explain why it is that you have re-homed Ferne to Jac???? The last time you posted about her was this post when you said that you were entering her into a show. How has it gone from this to feeling that you have to re-home her??

I know it was you that approached Jac and not the other way around and you have made Jac pay you what you paid the breeder for Ferne. Did you buy her as show quality and then decide that she wasn't good enough?? :?
