I had family there years ago, we used to go for holidays.
In the town square there used to be a grassy area. Juring the war a realation found a bomb, he hit it with a stick and it blew up taking a great deal of his face with it. His name was Edger. His Mum ran a B&B I think. Hazey memories but every one new him and his family. (the browns!!) He got plastic surgery for about 20 years but a happier person you couldnt meet. (there's some usless information)
