There is this sweet burmese that lives round here, he's always in the garden and recently has started coming in and nosing round the house. My 3 just look at him and walk off - he's everyone's friend.
At about 5pm today there was a knock on the door. I was feeding Sebastian so Ken answered. He came running downstairs and to the back door. He said the man that had come to the door mentioned a cat lying on the access road behind our house. He knew we had cats so knocked on our door.
I ran out with him; and it was Bailey. He was still warm  I ran off to the flats and just knocked on the door of the only flat I could see with (a) catflap and (b) lights on. I told the woman that answered and she thought that at first he was hurt so I had to tell her no, he's dead. Ken brought him up off the road and put him on our garden table. I was so upset - there wasn't a mark on him, but his tongue was lolling out :( :( :(
Dear, young, beautiful Bailey - run free little sweet friendly kitty, sorry I couldn't have helped you.
