Okay people lets go :-D whats your birthstone and more to the point do you like it and do you have jewllery of your birthstone?

Mine is Aquamarine, I don't particularly like it ......... and no, I've never had any jewellery with aquamarine either......:D

Mine is Topaz, Hubby bought me a Topaz ring for my birthday a few years ago...Its really lovely...

Mine is blue topaz and I have a lovely blue topaz and diamond ring that my OH gave me for our anniversary a few years ago. His birthstone is diamond so it was rather a romantic gesture.

Wow I've got the choice of 4........:) Pearl, Moonstone, Emmerald and Agate (no idea what that is though) but have none of them I like Pearls and Emmeralds, and moonstones so if anyone wins the lottery I'll take any or all :)

It gets very confusing with that chart doesn't it, so many too choose from. I never go with my month birthstone as I dont like yellow topaz, I go with blue topaz which is my starsign birthstone.

Mine's emerald; I have an emerald ring (small stone) and a nice pair of emerald stud earrings.

Mines June as well! Didnt have a clue til just now. Quite like pearls and dont know what a moonstone looks like. Any ideas?

Think moonstone is another name for opal.
Mine is turquise. I quite like it, set in silver.

Think moonstone is another name for opal.
Mine is turquise. I quite like it, set in silver. No, they're two different stones; opal is more expensive, but they're both beautiful. Opal is supposed to be unlucky to wear if it's not your birthstone. I love moonstones, have a pretty pair of drop earrings. Futher on in the thread, Mags has posted a picture of moonstone.

My birthday is February, so my birthstone is amethyst. I dont really like it, so have diamonds instead! ;)

I knew mine was sapphire but I don't have any, but the other stones are peridot and zircon, and I do have peridot.
My son trained as a jeweller although he has a different job now, unfortunately for him I'm not a jewellery wearer so cannot advertise his work!! But I love looking at the stones he has. Logoes
