Are cats left or right pawed??

Based on DM'sadmission that Chester always sleeps on Bentley right and my knowledge that Cleo always sleeps on my right and Oscar always slept on my left (even with Oscar gone Cleo has never moved to the left spot) are your cats left or right pawed do they have a favourite ie how about trying and roling something towards them directly and seeing if they bat it back with left or right paw???:-D

I think Cassie is ambidextrous ......... she taps things with both paws when playing.

There again, when she taps me on the face it is always with her right paw :)

Could be ... or just habit. They eat on the same side of each other too, again Chester on Bentley's right

I too have wondered about this, and decided cats are ambidextrous. Mine have always seemed to use either paw without any special preference; would bat a ball,, etc. with whichever paw was handiest...would be very interested in seeing others" observations!!
