Bad timing

About 10.30 last night Cassie came through her cat flap with a mouse in her mouth! I was barefoot and worried she was going to let the little thing go over my feet:shock:so hubby shooed her outside again. I couldn't get her in by the time I went to bed but checked at 4.00am and she was curled up fast asleep on a chair.

This morning she is completely under the weather......she didn't want her food, which is very unusual, hasn't wanted to go outside, not been in her litter tray......generally looks sorry for herself:( I think that mouse couldn't have been as tasty as she first thought it would be:roll:

She hasn't brought a mouse in for sometime so why did she have to do it last night and upset herself just when she has to go into the Cattery tomorrow morning:-x

Thanks all! She has had a couple of mouthfuls of food after about 10 hours sleep!:roll::lol:
I think I'll lock the cat flap at 6 this evening ......can't risk the same thing happening tonight!:lol:

She has been going to the same Cattery for 8 years Eileen.....they know her and she know them now, so she is quite happy. It also makes me feel better knowing she is safe and being looked after.....

An update on Cassie today.........

She seems to have slept off her upset tum last night and she was back to normal this morning. She devoured her breakfast in no time, had a mad 5 miutes playing.....then into her carrier and off to the Cattery.

She has an indoor eating and sleeping 'house' and an outdoor run which overlooks fields. Watching out for all the field mice is bound to keep her amused....and frustrated!!
