View Full Version : New feeder/table and inner city birds
Well I final got round to assembling my new bird feeder/table, I've also attached a seed feeder to it and a fat ball and put the remaining fat balls on the back of the fence as wel as the suet feeder.:) The birds have been in, in their droves must be proper inner city birds as they dived in straight off. I thought it took them 3 weeks or so to become used to a new feeder. :)

Wow Kazz..your garden is looking lovely! So glad the birds like their new feeder :-D Daren't have a bird feeder here...there would be no birlds left to feed from it with my cats' bird fascination
Thanks Fran I have never been able to have a bird feeder or even attempt to encourage birds with Oscar he was convinced they were take aways  no matter how much I tried to convince him otherwise. :?
But Cleo is too old now so I decided it was time for the birds.:)

You must have gotten the ratio between nice hiding-places and clear views just right then. And a super garden!

It took my birds 4 months Kazz. But then, country born and country bred, strong in the arm (?wing, ? beak) but weak in the head! :)
Yours is looking good!

Great garden - and its not even summer yet!!!
Your garden looks great Kazz. I have plenty of bird feeders and some blue tits in 2 nesting boxes. I love wild birds. Thankfully the cats aren't bothered and I don't get any pressies. It really is the one thing about cats I hate, but I know it is their nature.
