HI everyone, I am new here so thought this would be the best place to start!
I think a couple of you may know me - Brenda, Eileen? - but I am Ems, and I am a Veterinary Nurse from Newcastle up north! I am engaged to my lovely other half, and we share our home with our kids - our rescued pets, 2 dogs and 4 cats. My cats are all boys, and are Finn, Riley, Theo & Mackenzie. My dogs are crossbreeds, Asha & Elliot. They all get along great, with the exception of Finn who is fine with the dogs but doesn't like other cats. He spends most of his time in my bedroom when he's not outside, he is also the only one of my cats who goes outside.
As well as my permanent furkids, I have various fosters here at any given time...I spend most summers hand rearing orphans between us nurses, which I find very rewarding. I am always lookng for homes for cats/dogs/others. At the moment, my temporary additions are Gorgeous a 12 month old cat, and her 3 week old kitten Sprout. She came to me as a stray shortly after giving birth, the rest of her litter had perished :(
Look forward to mooching around here - I am off to post piccies now!
