My baby boy (Spyder) has gone in for the snip today... no more calling him golden balls! I'm so worried but sure all will go well. I know my vet will look after him. I have to ring at two to see how he's gone on, it feels like an age waiting.

Good luck Deester, I'm sure all will go well! When my boys had it done, there were no different from the minute I picked them up - my OH was convinved I'd spent £100 to just have their private parts shaved!

Maybe he'll still have his golden ones then lol  He's being chipped at the same time too. As now he's been done he'll be allowed to go out... which is another thing that scares me... letting him out into the big bad world.

Deester, have you picked him up yet? How is he?

My boys were chipped while they were under as well - because I was scared of the big needle!

My baby boy is back and none the worse for his little chop. The vets all adorded him but said he's very vocal, he just wanted his mum, bless him! Thanks for everyones concern, i was more worried because he'd had a reaction to his 1st vaccination. So now he'll soon be going out a little at atime though.
