............get your post delivered each day?

Ours used to be delivered almost on the dot at 7.15 each morning. That was earlier this year but now it is all over the place. For the last couple of days it has arrived about 2.45 - 3.00pm:shock: Because of the irregularity we don't know if we've got any post that day.....we just have to wait to see if postie turns up or not:roll:

Ours is here at 10.30 every morning, unless it snows, then we are lucky to see mail once a week..I had a parcel delivered last week, 2 weeks late, why? because the delivery man could not find us!!

What an excuse Moli.....have they never heard of maps:roll:
Years ago the Royal Mail used to be an excellent service......now they have got all the latest sorting equipment and they still can't promise first class post getting delivered the day after:roll:

I popsted a parcel to Jac, 3 weeks later it had not arrived, so I got a claim form and filled it in handed it to the PO.2 months later The parcel turned up, I had put the wrong address on it, wrong house number, So I parcelled it up and resent it, Jac got it next day.:) .2 day later I got a cheque from the post office apologising for losing my parcel and sent me £30 compensation...

ours comes on the dot at 7:30am, usually him rattling the letterbox is my alarm call, dogs jump over and on me to get off the bed and their barking is enough to wake the dead, so yes the postie is usueful in more ways than one
until we had a new front door fitted we used to have a wee post box on the wall of the porch where the postie popped any mail or parcels in without us noticing, but thew new door has a letterbox and he insists on using it

We have the same postie every day, he's been doing our round for in excess of 10 years  Very pleasant chap who is scared to death of dogs, even my labs!!! He has some sort of disability which means it takes him ages to do his round. We are at the end of his round so usually get our post around 3-4pm

We used to get out post at 7.30 am then again at 1pm. Then the second post got abolished.
It started off well, we alwaays got out post before 9am. Some days we dont get it before 4.30pm or if I'm really lucky I get half the streets mail as well. It was so bad at one time we all got together and put in a complaint.
The postman we have at the moment is local. If he has a letter or parcell that wont go through the box he'll bring it back later on if your not in. Not like some jobs worths.

We get out mail delivered every day (except Sunday) about 11 AM
We are rural, so the delivery is from car into our boxes that sit on posts by the shoulder of the road.
