Hi - I'm Yola and I live in Reading. I've got 3 persians; 2 bought as kittens and one rescue from Cats Protection who I acquired at the beginning of summer (I will introduce them formally in the Cat section of the site).

I currently do voluntary work for my local CP. As I work in marketing and design, I put these skills to good use and deal with the putting together of ads, the writing of press releases etc.

I love all things kitty and I've been frequenting a couple of US cat websites for pretty well 4 years now, but am delighted to have had Cat Pages reccommended to me and I look forward to spending many happy hours getting to know everyone.:smt039

Hi Yola and welcome to Catpages :smt039

It's great to have you onboard and I look forward to seeing loads of piccies of your Persians.

Know what you mean about having to visit US sites... so it's nice to finally have a great UK! and I am sure you guys will make Catpages the number one site for Cat lovers in the UK :)

Thank you all for your warm welcomes!!

Well, now it's Monday morning and I'm back in the office and can spend a bit of time in here catching up and looking around without having to tend to every whim of my 2 year old son . . . MAN; he's energetic  *stops to catch breath*

I work 3 days a week and 2 days are spent at home with the little one. I used to do 4 days in the office but felt I needed to spend more time with my boy. As I run my own business (with my husband), it's (in a way) easier to be able to be so flexible; however the downside is that I can't really ever 'leave the office' and have to monitor emails and solve issues even when at home :( .
